One hundred alumni members from Cairo, Alexandria, and Assiut will participate in the 1st National Youth Conference that will be held in Alexandria, from August 13th to August 16th, 2007, under the auspices of President Mubarak. 

The conference will include different interactive sessions tackling topics such as employment & small projects, housing & youth villages, youth & voluntary activities, the role of the civil society & the private sector in youth employment, and volunteerism & community service. 

Fifty alumni members will be responsible for the organization of the conference .

Fifteen alumni members participated in the five days training program organized by FGF Women Leadership Club from July 01st, 2007 to July 05th, 2007.

The program focused on increasing the skills of young women in different areas including time management, team roles, feasibilty studies, market research, small projects management, and developing leadership skills.

More than 120 alumni members met on Thursday June 21st, 2007 with Mr. Omar Sherif Samra, the first Egyptian to climb Mount Everest and raise the Egyptian flag on its top on May 17th, 2007.

During the meeting, Mr. Samra explained to alumni members the details of his 75 days expedition, the challenges that he faced throughout his trip, the special training he received, as well as his future plans.
